Texas Roadhouse Camarillo Is Now Open: Hours and Address

Texas Roadhouse is now open in Camarillo at 650 E. Ventura Blvd, on the Promenade at Camarillo Premium Outlets. It is the chain's first location in Ventura County, and it was a long wait: when the project was announced in 2024, the company said it expected to open in the summer of 2025. It finally opened in October 2026.

Where it is

The restaurant sits on the Promenade side of Camarillo Premium Outlets, next door to Finney's Crafthouse at 580 Ventura Blvd. Plans reported by the Ventura County Star in 2024 describe an 8,307 square foot building with 16 new parking spaces and a shared parking agreement with neighboring businesses.

Hours

These are the hours on the chain's Camarillo page as of October 28, 2026. Monday through Friday it opens at 3 p.m., so on weekdays it is a dinner spot. Saturday and Sunday it opens at 11 a.m., the only days you can go for lunch.

No reservations: how the waitlist works

The Camarillo location page has buttons to join the waitlist and to order to-go, with no reservation option. The Texas Roadhouse app lets you check current wait times, add your name to the list before you arrive, and get a text when your table is ready. On a busy night, that is the easiest way to avoid standing around the lobby.

The first Texas Roadhouse in Ventura County

The chain has no other location in the county. Before Camarillo opened, the closest Texas Roadhouse restaurants were roughly 100 miles away, in Corona and Rialto in the Inland Empire or in Bakersfield. Locations in Valencia and Lancaster have been reported as early-stage plans with no opening dates.

What took so long

When the project surfaced in May 2024, the company said Camarillo was "slated to open in summertime 2025, pending construction." By late July 2024 the city was still preparing the project's environmental review ahead of a planning commission hearing. The October 19, 2026 date appeared in local reporting in August 2026, more than a year after the original target.

Is it hiring?

Yes. The Camarillo location page says "We're hiring here" and links to open hourly positions on the Texas Roadhouse careers site.

More openings this fall

Texas Roadhouse is the first of two big openings on Ventura Boulevard this fall. The new Camarillo Costco opens Friday, October 30. For everything else opening, just opened or closing around the county, see New in Ventura County, which we check every week.
