Princess Diana: Love Life Legacy opens at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley on Saturday, November 7, 2026, and runs through Monday, May 31, 2027. It is the exhibition's first stop anywhere in the world, with more than 700 original artifacts, and it is included with museum admission.

  • Where: Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
  • Tickets: included with museum admission, which is $29.95 for adults during the exhibit.
  • Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day and Saturday, December 5, 2026.

  • Buy ahead: the library expects advance sell-outs.

What's in the exhibit

The Reagan Foundation describes more than 700 original pieces: fashion, handwritten letters, childhood keepsakes, jewelry, historic documents and personal possessions. Named highlights include:

  • The "Travolta" dress, on loan from Historic Royal Palaces.
  • Jacques Azagury's "Final Goodbye" dress, the last gown Diana tried on, shown publicly for the first time.
  • The "Black Sheep" sweater, and the "Caring" dress she wore while visiting hospitalized children.
  • Her wedding slippers and the official program from her royal wedding.
  • Lady Dior handbags, shoes, hats and jewelry.
  • The invitation to the 1985 White House State Dinner.

Only the Simi Valley stop pairs Diana's artifacts with items from President and Mrs. Reagan's archival collection, including dresses and personal treasures of Nancy Reagan. The exhibition is produced by Exhibits Development Group with The Princess & The Platypus Foundation, from the collection of The Princess Diana Museum, and it is not affiliated with the British Royal Family.

Want to see the library for less first?

Before the exhibit opens, admission is lower. The Reagan Foundation's visit page lists adult tickets at $16 from September 14 through November 6, 2026. That covers Air Force One, the permanent galleries and the grounds, just not Diana. Prices can change, so check the ticket page for the day you plan to go.

Plan your visit

  • Time: the library suggests three to four hours for all of the galleries and grounds.
  • Parking: free. When the main lot fills, visitors park along Presidential Drive and ride a shuttle to the front gates.
  • Accessibility: everything is wheelchair accessible except the inside of Air Force One, and loaner wheelchairs are free on a first-come basis.
  • Rules: photos without flash are allowed. There is no bag or coat check, and bags may be searched.

A Diana lunch on November 20

The Reagan Foundation is hosting a Princess Diana White House Lunch and Tour on Friday, November 20, 2026, with Renae Plant, founder and chief curator of The Princess Diana Museum. It costs $72 per person and includes the museum and the exhibit. Reservations close Friday, November 13 at 10 a.m.
