For Ventura County musicians

A real website for your band. Free.

We build clean, mobile-friendly landing pages for the musicians in our directory. So when a venue Googles your name, they find something worth booking.

Why this exists

Most Ventura County acts don't have a website. The ones who do, usually have a bad one.

A venue searches your name and lands on a Facebook page from 2019. A fan wants to share you and there's nothing to send. You lose gigs to acts who paid $300 a year for a Squarespace.

The directory at venturacountylocal.com/directory/musicians is a good start. But a name on a list isn't a page someone can fall in love with. So we're building the pages.

What you get

One page. Everything a venue or fan needs.

A homepage that looks like a pro built it

Your name, photo, genre, and bio up top. Designed for phones first since that's where venues open it.

Music and videos embedded

YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp. Drop us your links and the player goes on the page.

A contact form that emails you

Venues and fans fill it out, you get the message in your inbox. We never sit between you and a gig.

A real URL you can put anywhere

venturacountylocal.com/m/your-band. Stick it on flyers, biz cards, your IG bio, your QR code at shows.

How it works

Three steps. No surprises.

  1. 1

    Send us what you have

A couple of photos, a short bio (we can write one if you don't have it), and links to your music.

  2. 2

We build it in two to five days

Clean layout, real typography, mobile-friendly. We share a preview link before it goes live.

  3. 3

    Your page goes live

Share the link. Inquiries from the contact form land in your inbox. You own the content forever.

What it costs

Free. For real.

  • Free if you're listed in our musicians directory (and the directory is also free).
  • No ads on your page. We're not selling your page real estate to anyone.
  • Coming later: optional add-ons like custom domain mapping (yourband.com), gig calendar, and photo gallery. We'll tell you when those land.

Questions

The honest answers

Is it really free?
Yes. If your act is listed in our musicians directory (and that's free too), we'll build you a landing page at no charge. We're betting that having every Ventura County musician on a real page makes the whole directory stronger, which is what we actually care about.
Do I own the page and the content?
You own your bio, photos, music links, and the messages people send through your contact form. The page itself is hosted on venturacountylocal.com. If you ever want to move off, send us a note and we'll hand over the content.
Can I edit the page after it's live?
Send us what you want changed and we'll update it. Self-serve editing is on the roadmap but not the first thing we're building.
I already have a website. Should I get one of these anyway?
If your existing site is solid and mobile-friendly, probably not. If it's a Facebook page, a dead WordPress, or a single Linktree link, yes. Venues and fans Google your name. What they find should make them want to book you.
What if my band isn't in the directory yet?
Get listed first at /directory/musicians (also free, takes a minute). Then come back here and request a page.
How long until my page is live?
Most pages go live two to five days after you send us your stuff. If you need it faster for a specific show, tell us in the message and we'll prioritize.

Ready for a real page?

Tell us your act name and the best link to your music. We'll handle the rest. Two to five days from your message to a page you can share.

Tell us about your act

Or browse the existing directory at /directory/musicians.
