Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. If you'd rather not cook, you can sit down to a buffet at the harbor in Ventura, on the beach in Oxnard or at Ojai Valley Inn, book a turkey dinner at a steakhouse, or pick up a whole meal and heat it at home.
Every place below has posted its 2026 Thanksgiving plans on its own site, its booking page or a dated announcement, and we checked each one. The splurge: a raw bar and caviar, sushi and dim sum, pizza and fresh pasta stations, and carving stations for turkey, tomahawk and chateaubriand.

Ventura
Sliced turkey with sage dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cranberry sauce, salad and pumpkin pie, while it lasts. A limited menu runs that day.
No coupons, discounts or rewards on Thanksgiving Day. Ventura is the only Black Angus in the county.

Feasts are limited and first come, first served, with no Thanksgiving Day pickup. Urban Plates is open 11 AM to 7 PM on Thanksgiving.

A whole Diestel organic turkey split for reheating, sourdough stuffing, potato purée, green beans, Brussels sprouts, soup, salad and Parker House rolls.

Camarillo
Feasts for 4 to 6 or 6 to 8 with turkey breast, ham or a whole turkey, the sides, cornbread and a whole apple or pumpkin pie. On Thanksgiving Day it sells a turkey or ham dinner to go.
No dine-in on Thanksgiving: it's takeout only Monday to Thursday that week, and dine-in comes back Friday, November 27. The chain suggests Tuesday or Wednesday pickup and warns of hour-long waits on the day.
Thousand Oaks and Oxnard
