The Ojai Poems: Journey of a Spiritual Nomad

Author Eden Orlando will visit the Ojai Library at 6pm on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, to give a talk on her book The Ojai Poems: Journey of a Spiritual Nomad. Eight months at a meditative retreat center\u2014and her inevitable attempt at re-entering society\u2014became the inspiration for The Ojai Poems: Journey of a Spiritual Nomad , a nine-part, hand-made chapbook series by artist Eden Orlando. Eden began chronicling her spiritual awakening after college in poetry, documenting her observations about the land, people, and initiation experiences\u2014ultimately leading to brave choices around independence, survival, and adventure. Eden will do a reading followed by Q&A and have books for sale.
