Ragtime

Rubicon Theatre Company presents the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, based on E.L. Doctorow's novel about turn-of-the-century New York. The production weaves together three American stories — a stifled upper-class wife, a Jewish immigrant, and a Harlem musician — whose lives intersect as they confront wealth, prejudice, and hope. Directed by J. Scott Lapp, the show features a soaring score including 'Wheels of a Dream' and 'Make Them Hear You.' Running October 21 through November 8, 2026.
