Ragtime

Rubicon Theatre Company is bringing the Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime to Ventura this fall. The show follows three interconnected stories set in turn-of-the-century New York, tracing the lives of an upper-class woman, a Jewish immigrant, and a Harlem musician as they navigate wealth, prejudice, and possibility. Directed by J. Scott Lapp, the production features music including "Wheels of a Dream" and "Make Them Hear You." The run opens October 21 and continues through November 8, 2026.
