Ventura Land Trust Trail, Ventura CA

It is cooler in Ventura on Tuesday, but we still should start at 8:30. This hike will be in Ventura at the newly opened Ventura Land Trust behind the high school. This hike is similar to the Ray Miller Trail, i.e. it is 6 miles out and back. We start off at the parking lot at the end of Hall Canyon Road and hike up to the communication tower and then back.

Take the 101 Ventura and exit Seward. Go north (away from the ocean). Go past Thompson and Main St. to Poli. Take a left on Poli and almost immediately make a sharp right turn onto Hall Canyon Road. Stay on Hall Canyon Road (do not turn on Fairview or Sunset) and Hall Canyon turns into a street that has some traffic bumps, follow that for less than quarter mile to the parking lot.
