Okay Soldiers,

I have a secret 🫢

One that I've kept from everyone who knows me and it's about time I came out with it because in my maturity (*giggle* I'm not mature!) I've come to learn there's no shame in what I did whatsoever.

Like every single one of us, I made choices in my life that put me on a certain path (trail) and it's shaped me in ways I could not have imagined.

Sixteen years ago, I gave birth. Yep, you read that correctly: I gave birth...

...to an idea 💡

and called it The Moderate Hikers 😁

So I thought we'd celebrate Mother's Day with a spectacular hike!

This one has everything you'd want on a bitchen hike: sweeping visas, oak 🌳 covered groves, easy creek crossings, and surprises 😲 around every corner, you won't wanna miss it!

We'll do about 5 miles or so and I'd rate it as Moderate, so perfect for fit beginners on up.

🦮 Doggos - Yes, Poop on the Trail - No. You must pick up and pack out their 💩 and they must remain leashed.

Afterwards, we can go to Urban Plates for a bite to eat; they have something for everyone 🥑🌶 🌽 🥗 🍤 🍔 Yum!

DIRECTIONS
From the 101 freeway in Thousand Oaks, exit Lynn Rd and head north. Drive about two miles and turn right on Avenida De Las Flores. Make an immediate first left on Ciro and drive where it intersects with Tennyson. Meet at the park.
