Shelf Road with the Fox Canyon/Luci Trail Loop included Geo-hike

This is a moderate-paced geology hike covering just under 5 miles round trip starting from the Shelf Road trailhead at Gridley Road in Ojai on August 18th. The group will hike out along a dirt road to the North Signal Street trailhead and back, with a few stops along the way to talk about the area's geology and plants. If there's enough daylight and interest, you can add on the Fox Canyon and Luci Trail Loop on the return, which brings in about 800 feet of elevation gain. Dogs are welcome if leashed, and the hike moves at about 2 miles per hour.
