Start at 5pm to catch some cool weather.

**3.0 - 5.0 miles, 450' gain, easy.**

Let's enjoy the new trail with a mini waterfall!

**This is a potluck hike. Please bring food, drinks to share.**
If your item requires utensils/plates/toothpicks, etc., please bring them.
**You may wish to bring your own cup, plate, and utensils in case there aren't any.**

We'll have a [snack-share](https://www.dropbox.com/s/zlfjtt05uu2bhxn/Snack%20and%20Beverage%20Share.pdf?dl=0) **social event** for 60 minutes or so.
If there's a good location on the trail, we'll have picnic before heading back the way we came. Please bring some food and drink to share, and utensils.

Plan B is to go back to the park and have social event. Since this is a new adventure, we'll decide as we go.

Ventu Park exit, toward Newbury Park (north) for 0.3 mi.
Right on Ventu Park Rd. for 0.4 mi.
Park in the parking lot.

Hike Distance: 3.0-5.0 miles depending on the weather or your preference
Gain: about 450'

**What to bring**
1 liter of water for every 3 miles.
Hiking shoes/boots. Not required, but recommended.
Flashlight or headlamp.
Sunscreen and/or hat as needed.
