Manic Monday - Vista of the Angels, a.k.a. Angel Vista via the Rosewood Trail.

Head out Monday evening for a weeknight hike on the Rosewood Trail to Angel Vista in Thousand Oaks. The trail climbs about 790 feet over 3.4 miles with views worth the effort, and the elevation gain spreads out evenly so it stays on the easier side of intermediate difficulty. You'll reach a picnic table at the top where the group will spend a few minutes together before heading back down. The hike starts at 5:45 PM, so plan to be back before dark around 7:30 PM. Bring a jacket since it can get cool at the summit, even on warm days, and watch for poison oak on the way up.
