Early Summer Wildflowers on the Upper Sycamore Trail - Gentler
Let's go see them before they dry out for the summer!
Tomorrow · 9:00 AM
Rancho Sierra-Vista/Satwiwa
Newbury Park, CATomorrow · 9:00 AM · Los Robles Trail · Thousand Oaks, CA
**NOTE:**
We will begin in the parking lot at the end of Moorpark and walk down the street to the Las Padres trail (so do not turn down Greenmeadow to park, instead park at the end of Moorpark). From there we will loop around and come back to the Moorpark trailhead via the Los Robles trail. There are lots of trees and shade. At the end of the trail, some hikers may want to add a 1/2 mile by going on the trail to the Greenmeadow parking lot at the end of the hike and taking the trail back to Moorpark, but you can also return to the Moorpark parking lot before that turn off. This should be around 4.5 to 5 miles with maybe 800 feet elevation gain.
"Robles" is Spanish for oaks, and we'll see plenty of them on this beautiful hike.
Trailhead Directions: From the 101 in Thousand Oaks, turn south on Moorpark Road. Go to the end of Moorpark DO NOT turn down Greenmeadow, just park at the end of Moorpark. .
