Studio Channel Islands is a nonprofit art center in Camarillo that hosts rotating exhibitions, literary events, and community gatherings. Beyond their gallery shows—recent exhibitions have explored portraiture and narrative art—they run regular programming like Poetry in the Gallery, Writers in the Gallery workshops, and experimental performance nights. The space feels centered on bringing artists, poets, and writers together, with free or low-cost admission to most events. Open studio hours on the first Saturday of each month give you a chance to see work in progress.
