Pete's Breakfast House has been serving Ventura County since 1981, built on Peter Ransom's commitment to freshly prepared breakfast dishes. When Peter and Lyndsay Timpson took over in 2003, they kept the original menu, recipes, and long-time staff intact—chef Gilby has been there since 1988, and several servers for over 20 years. The kitchen squeezes fresh orange juice, bakes biscuits throughout the day, and chops salsa fresh. Beyond classic American breakfast, they draw from Mexican, Italian, and Greek flavors, plus daily specials. Their pancake roll with yogurt and berries earned a nod from Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Breakfast is served all day; lunch starts at 11am.
