Boatyard Pub is a locally owned seafood and American spot right on the water, serving everything from award-winning New England clam chowder and tallow-fried fish and chips to steaks, lobster, and charbroiled burgers. They won Channel Islands Maritime Museum's 2025 Chowderfest People's Choice, so the chowder is worth the trip alone. The bar stocks 16 beer taps and 20 craft cocktails focused on Ventura breweries and distilleries, plus they pour killer bloody Marys with breakfast. Live music runs seven days a week, and the harbor-view patio welcomes dogs. You'll find the right vibe whether you want quiet dining, a lively bar scene, or seaside casual.
